LAHORE: Officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) aren’t resigning from their posts despite an ultimatum by the newly established Management Committ

ee, it emerged.

According to media reports, many officials from the cricket controlling body’s previous administration, including the chief executive Faisal Hasnain had received an ultimatum by the newly formed management committee under Najam Sethi to submit their resignations.

With no resignation of any PCB top official post deadline, the board members have admitted that their high salaries were not justified. The management committee will now decide a new action plan next week as unannounced consent for the salary cut has been shown. Some officials are also expected to be dismissed.

According to media reports, new PCB administration was not satisfied with the heavy salaries of some directors and head of departments.
