ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved financial assistance of Rs 5 million each for legal heirs of those who lost lives during long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Financial assistance was approved for heirs of Mozam Gondal from Wazirabad, journalist Sadaf Naeem, Samir Nawaz from Rahwali and Hassan Baloch of Lahore, Minister said in a tweet. She said that Prime Minister directed for handing over cheques of financial assistance to families of deceased persons immediately after completing procedural requirements.
