ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi approved withdrawal of curative review reference and Civil Miscellaneous Application (CMA) against judge of Supreme Court, Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

On my direction, the government has decided to withdraw the Curative Review Petition against senior most Judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Qazi Faez Isa. The Curative Review was based on ill-will & meant to harass & intimidate the honourable Judge at the behest of Imran Niazi.

President gave approval on advice of Prime Minister in accordance with Article 48 of Constitution. Dr Alvi also signed his power of attorney in favour of Advocate Supreme Court Anees Ahmed Shehzad.
