ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi said as Pakistan offered investment friendly environment, foreign investors should benefit from its pro-investment policies. Talking to delegation of Chinese Company Easyway Innovation Technology Company Ltd led by Chief Executive Officer Joe Hanyu here he said development of IT (information technology) sector was one of major priorities of country.

He said that foreign entrepreneurs needed to invest in important sector which had immense potential to grow. President said that Special Technology Zones Authority offered various incentives, including 10-year tax exemption for enterprises and Chinese IT companies should capitalise on those opportunities.

Easyway CEO briefed President about role of his company in providing various IT services and industry solutions. He highlighted that Easyway provided integrated solutions and professional software development for smart transportation, smart logistics and other fields. He said his company had developed e-ticking system for Pakistan Railway that would help enhance its efficiency.
