ISLAMABAD: PTI has filed petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) requesting court to decide early Prohibited Funding case in respect of PML-N, PPP and other parties. PTI leader Farrukh Habib filed miscellaneous petition seeking hearing of under trial case on daily basis. It was requested in petition that Election Commission should be directed to conduct hearing of prohibited funding cases against PML-N, PPP and other parties on day to day basis.

Election Commission failed to hear prohibited funding case in respect of PML-N, PPP and other parties like PTI. Other political parties were given opportunity to take political mileage out of wrong report against PTI. Such tactics are direct attack on democracy. Basic rights of PTI and its members are being violated. Petitioner prayed court to decide important questions raised in petition for protection of democracy. Election Commission has been made respondent in PTI petition.
