KARACHI: Sindh government sanctioned an increase 17.5 percent of net pension with effect from July 1, 2023 to civil pensioners of Sindh government. Increase in pension as mentioned at Para-01 will also be admissible to pensioners who would retire on or after July 1, 2023.

For purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned term 'Net Pension' means 'Pension being drawn' minus 'Medical Allowance'. Increase will also be admissible on family pension granted under Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme, 1954, Liberalised Pension Rules, 1977 on pension sanctioned under Central Civil Services (Extra Ordinary Pension) Rules as well as on Compassionate Allowance under CSR-353.
