SNGPL reduces UFG losses by 23,348MMCF

LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limtied (SNGPL) has exceeded assigned target by reducing UFG losses by 23,348 MMCF. A press release issued by company said government of Pakistan had assigned task of reduction in UFG losses of SNGPL by 18,240 MMCF within period of three years i.e. FY 2019-20 to 2021-22, ending on June 30, 2022. In order to achieve assigned targets, SNGPL has focused on controlling gas theft, leakage and measurement errors. Real time monitoring of all industrial consumers through SCADA is being carried out on regular basis.

Company exceeded assigned target by reducing UFG losses by 23,348 MMCF. Reduction in UFG losses is 28 percent more than assigned task.
