Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori expressed displeasure at overall health and sanitation situation on visiting Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and directed to improve it. He said that in third largest Hospital of city, patients come not only from central, western and eastern districts of Karachi but also from Balochistan for treatment.

There is a need to improve. He said that a large part of city’s population prefers this Hospital. Tessori said that he will also talk to relevant authorities regarding problems and funds faced by Hospital. He said that it is necessary to spray entire city to eradicate Dengue. During his visit to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Governor inspected various wards and went to Children Life Care Centre managed by social organisation while also interacting with patients in Dengue ward. Medical Superintendent Naeem Al Qamar gave him briefing about Hospital.
