Woman, daughter killed in road accident, polio worker injured in friendly fire

SWAT: Mother and her five-year-old daughter were killed in traffic accident, while a polio worker was injured in friendly fire. According to District Police Officer Shafiullah Khan Gandapur, accident took place near Aligrama of Tehsil Kabal when Karachi-bound passenger coach from Swat ran over Jannat Bibi wife of Khan Nawab and daughter Alishba who were crossing road. DPO Swat said that police arrested driver Shah Hussain and registered case while vehicle has been impounded.

Meanwhile, policeman Umar Razaq on security of polio team in Kokarai area accidentally fired, resulting injuring Aizaz in shoulder, while he also got minor injury on hand. DPO Swat issued orders to immediately suspend Umar Razaq and ordered inquiry.
