Recently, Yasir Nawaz appeared in Faysal Quraishi’s podcast Pressure Buhat Hai. In the podcast, he talked about the actors who are currently reviewing Pakistani dramas in a television show of a reputable news channel. Talking about the actors reviewing the dramas, Yasir Nawaz said, “Let them (trollers) speak; I don’t consider their opinions important. Nowadays, actors are also doing the same, those reviewing the dramas. Although, I haven’t watched their reviews, but sometimes clips pop up in my feed. Danish Nawaz once asked me, ‘Don’t you get angry about their bad reviews for your show?’ I replied, ‘Let them do it; I don’t care about their reviews.’

He further added, “However, when it comes to films, I feel a bit more concerned. We are bringing people to cinemas from their homes, and they are spending their money on our productions. At least give us a week or two before forming judgments. As for drama reviews, I really don’t care because people watch them regardless. I believe some reviewers are getting paid for their negative reviews. I’m almost certain they’re compensated for their critical rants”.
