DG NAB, Tessori discuss transparent use of funds, other issues

Karachi: Director General National Accountability Bureau Javed Akbar Riaz in meeting with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori discussed anti-corruption, transparent use of funds and other issues. Director General apprised Governor about performance of institution. Governor appreciated performance of Javed Akbar Riaz. Governor said that NAB has an important role in return of looted funds from national treasury.

This institution has achieved significant success against corruption in province. Director General told Governor that National Accountability Bureau will organise function on Global Anti-Bribery on December 9 and request him to participate. Meanwhile, Air Officer Commanding Southern Command Air Vice Marshal Khalid Mehmood met Governor at Governor House. Role of Air Force in protecting air border, challenges being faced and other issues came under discussion.

Governor said that Pakistan Air Force is pride of nation, Pakistan Air Force has full capacity to face all kinds of challenges. He said that Air Force plays key role in defense nowadays. Air Vice Marshal said that Pakistan Air Force is capable of delivering results as per aspirations of nation. Later, Governor visited Liaquatabad Post Office famous for Golgappe and Haleem of Dakkhana. Area people and shopkeepers took selfies with Governor. They praised Kamran Tessori for this gesture. They informed Tessori about issues of traders and civic problems.
