Four terrorists killed in KP: ISPR

BAJAUR: Security forces killed three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Inayat Qilla area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district, Army’s media wing said. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that IBO was conducted on reported presence of terrorists in Inayat Qila area of ??Bajaur. During which there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, resulting in killing of terrorists, including their commander Shafi.

Arms and ammunition were also seized, ISPR said, adding that dead were involved in terror activities including attacks on security forces.

“Sanitisation of area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in area,” ISPR said.

Security forces conducted an IBO in general area of Tirah said statement issued by ISPR.

During conduct of operation, after intense fire exchange, one terrorist was killed, while another three were injured. Weapon and ammunition was also recovered from slain terrorist.
