Girl gunned down over matrimonial dispute

SHIKARPUR: A disabled girl was shot dead over marriage row in suburbs of Shikarpur yesterday. According to police, incident occurred in Nayun Laliyon area of Khanpur between Mangi and Bhatti community over relationship disagreement in which disabled girl Yasmeen Bhatti was killed. Accused fled away after committing crime.

Girl’s body was shifted to Khanpur Hospital for autopsy. Girl had previously been abducted by members of Mangi community, according to statement of deceased’s sister. She demanded higher authorities to arrest accused.–PPI
