I opened law firm, should I not give advice if someone seeks: Saqib Nisar

LAHORE: Confirming his recent leaked audio, former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar has said he has opened his law firm and should he not give advice if someone seeks it.

“I have not done any wrong thing. I have opened my own law firm. Should I not give advice if someone seeks it from me.

Terming his audio leak as stolen goods former CJP said no earthquake has come due to this audio. My right to privacy has been affected. I don’t accept it. It is stolen goods. Stolen goods can neither be sold nor can it be advertised.

He further said, “I have done what wrong in this regard. ‘I am not professional’, he asked. I have opened my law firm. If someone consults me then what is any pretext for me for not giving advice.

It is pertinent to mention here alleged audio between Saqib Nisar and Khawaja Tariq Rahim is viral on social media wherein he is guiding in connection with contempt of court petition by PTI counsel.
