IHC gives last chance to NAB prosecutor to appear in IK bail petition

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned hearing on bail petition of PTI Founder in 190 million pound reference till May 6.
Case unable to proceed due to absence of NAB prosecutor, court directed NAB prosecutor to present on next hearing giving last chance to appear.
Hearing on bail application of PTI founder heard by division bench comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri. Meanwhile, Shehbaz Khosa Advocate, Barrister Salman Safdar and other PTI lawyers appeared before court.
However, NAB prosecutor Amjad Pervez advocate did not appear in court even today. NAB Prosecutor Amjad Parvez Advocate did not appear in court even on previous hearing.
Petitioner’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa had argued in previous hearing, NAB Prosecutor Amjad Pervez Advocate had to give arguments.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that he had heard Latif Khosa on previous hearing, every case has its own nature, Salman Safdar said that his foot was on accelerator in trial.
Court said that they are giving last chance, NAB prosecutor should appear at next hearing.
NAB prosecutor is absent for second time, absence will not be acceptable at next hearing. Investigating officer of case must also appear in court on next hearing, court adjourned hearing of case till May 6.
