Imran Khan granted protective bail for three days

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail to Imran Khan for three days in terrorism case.  A division bench of IHC presided over by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani took up case for hearing. Babar Awan counsel for Imran Khan appeared in court. Court remarked during hearing of case there is objection over bail application of Imran Khan.

Babar Awan told court police has besieged Imran Khan home. Imran Khan wants to appear before trial court, therefore, his protective bail plea be accepted. Police will arrest Imran Khan if he comes to court. We will resort to anti-terrorism court.  Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani told court petition has not been entertained so far.

Babar Awan told court his home has been besieged by police and how can he come here in this situation.  Court remarked, "You want protective bail in connection with biometric." Babar Awan said judge of anti-terrorism court is on leave, therefore we approached IHC being judge on leave. Court granted protective bail to Imran Khan for three days
