Alkhidmat concludes final phase of annual health screening for orphans

Karachi: Alkhidmat Karachi concluded third phase of annual health screening for orphans registered under its Orphan Care programme. Around 200 children participated in 3rd phase which was completed at Alkhidmat Medical Centre Bihar Colony, Lyari bringing total number of children who benefitted from health screening camps to 1,700. Check-ups were conducted by team of specialist doctors in ENT, eye, skin and dental illnesses as well as paramedical staff.

Furthermore, prescribed medicines were given free to those who needed them, while precautionary health advice was also given to these children and their guardians by doctors to keep themselves healthy and follow hygienic routine. Children with serious illnesses would be treated free by Alkhidmat. Children were accompanied by their mothers and guardians while Amir Jamaat-e-Islami District South and former MPA Sindh Syed Abdur Rasheed visited camp. CEO Naveed Ali Baig, Executive Director Naveed Ali Baig, Director Community Services Qazi Syed Sadruddin, Director Orphan Care Programme Yousuf Mohideen and Chairman Model Town Zafar Ahmed visited screening camps.
