Concerted efforts needed to pull masses out of quagmire: Sh. Rasheed

RAWALPINDI: Former Interior Minister and Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has suggested that everyone should sit together to solve issues of the masses.

Taking to X Rasheed said that it is an economic issue now rather political one but no attention was being paid to resolve matter. He said that public was being frightened that prices of electricity and petrol would be increased more. Incompetent government of 16 months escaped from Pakistan after having its cases ended and pushing poor towards inflation.

Former Interior Minister said that people were much perturbed owing to inflation and unemployment. He said there was limit to suffering.

He said people were in fix and now matter had gone beyond politics. Situation would slip out of hands of everyone and no one would be able to solve economic crisis, he added.
