JEDDAH: In strong-worded statement, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz Sharif condemned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, referring to him as “Terrorist” and “Seditionist”.

She emphasised that dialogue and negotiations should only be done with political parties and not with those who resort to violence and terrorism. Maryam Sharif made statement via her official twitter account, where she has large following. Her remarks came amid political climate of heightened tensions and polarisation in country.

Meanwhile, it should be noted Maryam Nawaz and other members of Sharif family including her father Nawaz Sharif were currently in Saudi Arabia to perform umrah.
