Hareen Malik steals the limelight in National Girls Swimming C’ship

KARACHI: Hareem Malik of  Sindh has stolen the limelight  during the just-concluded 21st National Girls  Age group Swimming Championship 2022 at Karachi Gymkhana here.

Hareem set three new records during the grand Women swimming gala.  Overall six new National Records were created in 25 Meters short course pool.  

The following is  tally of Hareem Malik, who contested in 13-14 years Age groups:

50m breaststroke 36:41; 100m breaststroke  1:20:28 and in 200m breaststroke, she set a new record with 2:58:65.

Other record winners include Aizah Durrani  of Army in age group 13-14 years. In  200m freestyle, she set a new record with 2:27::18.

On the other hand,  Meher Maqbool of Sindh shone in age group 13-14 years and set a record in  400m freestyle by 5:11:18. Moreover, Haya Bari, Simra Saya, Tanya Fazal , Aliya Hashmi of Navy in age group 15-16 4x100 medley relay.
