Islamabad: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that people of Gaza should not be forgotten in Ramadhan. Expressing his thoughts, Dar said, “Pakistan seeks support for non-permanent seats in Security Council.
Countries of Asia-Pacific Group have supported Pakistan in this regard.” He said, “Pakistan’s foreign policy is based on peace, equality, and justice”.
Dar emphasised that nuclear and hydro energy are widely regarded as secure energy sources worldwide. Speaking at press conference in London, disclosed his participation in nuclear energy meeting held in Brussels, where he raised pertinent issues regarding nuclear energy.
Dar noted significant support his position received from numerous global leaders during meeting. He said Pakistan had vision for nuclear energy since 1960s and despite scrutiny of world it continued to harness benefits of nuclear energy.
“Now world is saying that nuclear and hydro energy are safest and best for taking on challenge of climate change.”
