PIA launches ‘Operation Ashura’ with special flights to Najaf for pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has initiated series of special flights to Najaf to facilitate pilgrims during upcoming Ashura, commemorating martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).

‘Operation Ashura,’ commenced on July 5, with additional flights scheduled for July 7 and July 11. Return operations are scheduled to commence on July 20, with flights set for July 21 and July 25 to bring pilgrims back from Najaf. ‘Operation Ashura’ aims to provide seamless travel experience for pilgrims during this significant period of religious observance. PIA has been always striving to provide its passengers all possible comfort .
