KARACHI: Karachi might experience hot weather during the last 10 days of Ramadhan as heat intensity is expected to rise from March 20 in the city, Pakistan Meteorological Department Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said.
Nonetheless, he said, the weather was likely to remain relatively pleasant during the initial days of the holy month. “The days will comparatively be hot and nights to be better because of sea breezes,” he maintained. On current weather condition, he forecast that the cold wave might see slight increase on Tuesday and Wednesday nights as mercury could drop to 10-12°C. Meanwhile, PMD forecasts cool and dry weather for the next 24 hours with the lowest temperature to plunge to 13-11°C. Whereas, it said, the minimum temperature on Monday was recorded at 13.5°C.
