Riazuddin elected as President SITE unopposed

KARACHI:  Election Commissioner SITE Association of Industry (SAI) Tariq Yousuf announced that Riaz Uddin, Abdul Kadir Bilwani and Muhammad Hussain Moosani have unanimously been elected (unopposed) as President, senior Vice President and Vice President respectively of SAI at 58th Annual General Meeting chaired by Saleem Parekh, Chief Coordinator and former President SAI. M. Zubair Motiwala Chairman BMG and Patron-in-Chief SAI was also present. AGM was held at office of Association. Newly-elected office bearers will assume charge of their offices from October 1, 2022.

President-elect Riaz Uddin thanked members of SAI for posing confidence on him to represent oldest and largest Industrial base in country. He outlined his priorities for taking up impending issues facing industries in SITE area notably that of dilapidated infrastructure; lack of availability of basic utilities, non- availability of transportation for masses and law and order situation prevailing everywhere in city. President Riaz Uddin, Kadir Bilwani, Hussain Moosani and Zubair Motiwala appreciated efforts of outgoing President Abdul Rasheed, SVP Saud Mahmood and VP Muhammad Kamran Arbi who worked extensively in their tenure to serve industries in SITE. Meeting remembered founding Chairman BMG Siraj Kassam Teli (late) and lauded his memorable service for cause of industries. 

He thanked leadership of BMG, Jawed Bilwani, Majyd Aziz and Abdul Hadi. Muhammad Idrees and M. Tariq Yousuf President and President-elect, respectively of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry were invited. Zafar Ahmed Sheikh, Sikandar Imran, Anwar Aziz and Iqbal Arbi were also present. Newly elected office bearers-Executive Committee M. Azeem Afzal, Khalid Riaz, M. Farhan Ashrafi, M. Riaz Dhedhi, M. Saleem Nagaria, Naveed Wahid, Saleem Parekh, Saud Mahmood and Tarique Rehman Fazlee were also present.
