Sindh Ministers’ inaugurate 3-day Pak Water & Energy Expo in Karachi

Karachi: The three-day Pak Water and Energy exhibition, one of the major event of water and energy has opened in Karachi.

Provincial Ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Saeed Ghani inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon.  On arrival at the exhibition, organizer of expo Director Prime Event Kamran Abbasi welcomed both the ministers and toured them through  stalls.

Ministers appreciated the advanced machinery and technology at the stalls of foreign and local companies.

He also encouraged foreign guests to invest in Pakistan while talking to them. Talking to the media on this occasion, Provincial Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani appreciated the efforts of the organizers for holding the exhibition and said that water and energy are two important necessities of life whose uninterrupted supply is not only vital for the people but also drives the industry.

He said that the participation of foreign companies in the exhibition is also welcoming and a sign of improvement in the country's economy.

Meanwhile, the organizer of the exhibition, Kamran Abbasi, said that companies from China, Turkey,

Morocco, Australia, Egypt, and America are participating in the exhibition. More than 60 exhibitors have set up over 150 stalls in two halls.

He said that the exhibition will provide great business opportunities. Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation was represented by it's Director Engineering Sikandar Zardari in the opening session.

On the first day, a workshop on "Reinventing the Textile Circular Economy" was also held.

The exhibition will conclude on Thursday.
