KARACHI: Sindh police gunned down robber affiliated with Afghan gang in an alleged encounter which took place in North Nazimabad. Senior Superintendent of Police Central, Maroof Usman confirmed incident said that Afghan gang were looting inside residential house, while their third accomplice guarding outside.

Upon receiving information about ongoing crime, Sindh police arrived at scene, leading to an intense exchange of gunfire between law enforcement officers and criminals, resulting in death of one robber associated with a criminal afghan gang, while other two managed to escape. Police officials recovered weapon from possession of criminal, meanwhile, further investigation has revealed that group of criminals had previously executed robberies in two other houses last week. SSP Central Maroof Usman directed to form dedicated teams for arrest of escaped suspects to prevent any further criminal incidents, adding that afghan gang used a white car as their preferred means of transportation during their robbery sprees.
