SSP Maroof heads meeting on security, action against criminals

Karachi: Joint meeting operation and investigation was held at SSP District Central office with SSP in chair. SP Division, SDPOs Sub Division, SHOs and SIOs participated in meeting.

Meeting informed participants about orders of IG Sindh and to make strategies and take action on emergency basis against UTPs including street crime. SSP issued orders to take vigorous action against street crime and drugs in light of orders of IG Sindh.

He said that people with criminal records should be closely monitored. Sturdy investigation should be initiated on registering cases against criminals, he added. All SHOs along with SIOs will take vigorous action against street crime and UTPs, it observed. In this regard, three sub-divisional SPs should review security arrangements themselves and give report, it was suggested.

SSP said that street crime incidents and crime can be controlled by joint operation and investigation, so keep coordination and work together.

Apart from this, orders were also issued to make fool-proof security arrangements for police establishments.
