Pakistani television star Muneeb Butt has finally addressed the rumors surrounding his alleged rejection of a Bollywood film opposite Alia Bhatt.

During a recent talk show appearance, Butt dismissed the reports, stating, “No, this is not true at all. I don’t know where it started from.” He clarified that while he did receive an offer for an Indian film, it was not the one people assumed. “Yes, I was offered an Indian film, but it was one of those Punjabi movies, which are usually shot in London or Canada,” he explained. “We were in talks for that project, but I don’t know why its production never progressed, and it never went on the floors.” When asked about the cast, Butt admitted he couldn’t recall all the details but mentioned that it included both Indian and Pakistani actors. His statement has put an end to speculation about him rejecting a major Bollywood project alongside Alia Bhatt.

Muneeb Butt is known for his versatility and ability to take on diverse roles. From his early breakthrough in Baandi to his critically acclaimed performances in Sar-e-Rah, Ghairat, and Kaisa Hai Naseeban, he has consistently impressed audiences with his acting skills. While Bollywood remains an avenue many Pakistani actors have explored in the past, Butt’s clarification confirms that he was not in talks for a film alongside Alia Bhatt, debunking the widespread rumors.
