ISLAMABAD: Government slashed petrol price by Rs 12.63 per litre after which new price of petrol will be Rs 224.80 per litre. Announcement has been made by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar at a press conference here yesterday. Similarly, price of High-Speed Diesel has been cut by Rs 12.13 per litre to Rs 235.30. Price of Kerosene oil and Light Diesel Oil was also cut down by Rs 10.78 to Rs 224.80 per litre.

Dar said that decision to slash prices had been taken after a detailed discussion with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
