Karachi: Abdul Rasheed President SITE Association of Industry in press statement drew attention of Sindh Chief Minister and Administrator KMC towards worst condition of roads and infrastructure in SITE area after torrential rains and demanded them to issue orders for immediate repair of these roads which are becoming cause of accidents on daily basis.

He said that urgent repair of roads is also necessary to ensure export goods transportation to ports as well as for supply of raw material to industries.

He said that torrential rains have affected entire city to which, SITE area is no exception. Plying of loaded trucks and large vehicles on broken roads having big holes is no more possible.

Loaded trucks overturn, causing losses to industrialists and posing threat to human lives. Even small vehicles and motorcycles pass through these roads with extreme difficulty.

SITE President mentioned that many roads and streets of SITE are still inundated with rainwater which is hampering smooth industrial production.

He appealed Chief Minister, Administrator KMC Murtaza Wahab and Managing Director SITE Limited to take immediate notice of situation and issue orders to start roads repair work in SITE area on priority basis.
