Complaint in consumer court against Bata

KARACHI: Complaint was filed in local consumer court against alleged overcharging by shoe company, Bata Lahore.

As per details, citizen Ahsan Bari Channa advocate, through lawyer Kazim Hussain Mahesar filed complaint in court of consumer protection judge South Karachi under Section 26 of Sindh Consumer Protection Act against Lahore-based shoe company, Bata Pakistan.

Claimant maintained that he bought box of shoe polish from store of that company situated at Saddar Karachi but he was overcharged illegally.

He prayed court for action against respondents and payment of damages. Awareness about consumer rights is increasing in Sindh as well as whole country which is healthy development. Court issued notice for January 27, 2024.
