Islamabad: Government issued commemorative stamp on occasion of Independence Day, celebrating Arshad Nadeem’s historic achievement at Paris Olympics.

Special stamp, titled ‘Determination and Stability,’ pays tribute to Nadeem’s exceptional contribution to nation and highlights enduring struggle for Pakistan’s independence. Stamp features striking image of Nadeem in mid-throw during men’s javelin event, set against dark green background. It also incorporates Minaret of Pakistan, symbolising nation’s historical and symbolic significance. In statement to media, Nadeem expressed his elation, saying, “It was my day. I believe I could have thrown even further.” 27-year-old athlete is set to return to Pakistan via Istanbul, with his arrival in Lahore scheduled for Sunday night.
