KARACHI: Senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and former federal minister, Dr. Asim Hussain, issued a powerful statement, praising the Pakistan Armed Forces for their unwavering commitment to national security and their resounding success in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos. He also strongly condemned the Indian aggression and state-sponsored terrorism, emphasizing the unity of the Pakistani nation in the face of threats.

Dr. Hussain on his official social media handle wrote: "Grateful to Allah Almighty and proud of our brave Armed Forces who have always defended Pakistan’s sovereignty and integrity within and outside Pakistan, and will always stand as its unshakable shield. Their victory in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos is a glowing symbol of courage and sacrifice.  We stand and will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces against all enemies of Pakistan."

Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, a recent military operation targeting insurgent strongholds and external threats, was carried out with surgical precision and strategic brilliance. The operation has been widely hailed as a defining moment in Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts, restoring calm in restive areas and dismantling key networks of militants.

Dr. Asim commended the armed forces for their professionalism, resilience, and courage in confronting enemies both within and beyond Pakistan's borders. He emphasized that the military’s success is a source of national pride and a clear signal that Pakistan remains unyielding in the defense of its sovereignty. Referring to India's continuous provocations, Dr. Asim Hussain also condemned New Delhi's repeated ceasefire violations, disinformation campaigns, and sponsorship of terrorist proxies aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.

"India’s repeated acts of aggression and state-sponsored terrorism are a grave threat not only to Pakistan but to peace in South Asia. Pakistan has always pursued peace, but our restraint must never be mistaken for weakness," he warned.

Dr. Asim said Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos sends a strong and clear message: Pakistan will respond decisively and without hesitation to any attempt to undermine its stability or security. He paid tribute to the martyrs of the armed forces, whose sacrifice, he said, is the foundation of Pakistan's enduring strength.

"The people of Pakistan, united in spirit and unwavering in loyalty, stand shoulder to shoulder with our Armed Forces. Together, we will protect this sacred land from all who dare threaten it — now and always," he concluded.

Dr. Asim Hussain's statement reflects a broader national sentiment of solidarity with the military and a resolute stance against external aggression, particularly from India. His words echo the collective resolve of a nation determined to defend its peace, dignity, and future.
