WB-funded infrastructure rehabilitation project in Liaquatabad Town underway: Chairman

Karachi: Chairman Liaquatabad Town Faraz Haseeb visited union councils of Liaquatabad Town along with team of Click to review plan for restoring infrastructure in Town in collaboration with World Bank and Click.

In first phase, construction and repair of roads in various USCs of Liaquatabad Town, renovation and decoration of parks and playgrounds, construction of Liaquatabad Maternity Home and Dispensary with CC flooring work and restoration work will be carried out. He said that all departments need to work together for sustainability of development projects. He expressed hope that soon people will see changes in roads, sewage system, parks and green belts.

Vice Chairman Ishaq Timuri, coordinator Sagheer Ahmed, Chairman UC 3 Younis Bandhani, Chairman UC 2 Irshad Ahmad, Chairman UC 4 Ubaid Khan, Director Sanitation Nasir Khan, Director B&R Shafqat Alam, Director Parks Rehan Hamdani and local government officers were present.
