Action Panel boycotts KIMCHS election

Karachi: Action Panel boycotted annual election of Karimabad Islamia Multipurpose Cooperative Housing Society (KIMCHS) against Karimabad United panel on May 7. Earlier after going to sessions' court west where both parties were directed by court to hold elections in society, in protest Action Panel withdrew its candidates.

According to Shabir Nathawni, in milieu of boycott by Action Panel, Malik Mahedi as Chairman, Gulshan A. Aziz as Vice Chairman, Imran Arwan as Secretary and Salman Jalaluddin as Treasurer of Karimabad United panel were declared unopposed winners. Bashir Ahmed, Ali Asghar and Rukhsana Nasir also won seats unopposed.

Shabir Nathawni alleged election process was not fair and rules were not followed as well as our candidates were declared illegal contesters by Karimabad United panel.
