Karachi: Alkhidmat dispatched two more trucks laden with relief supplies for flood victims in Balochistan. These additional trucks were sent with collaboration of Alkhidmat Foundation Women's Wing Trust under supervision of Executive Director Alkhidmat Rashid Qureishi and senior officials of Alkhidmat's Disaster Management cell.

Supplies included dry rations, flour, canned food, biscuits, water bottles, tents, blankets, ladies and children's clothes, footwear, cooking vessels and other necessities. These trucks have been sent to Bela where local Alkhidmat officials will receive them and distribute supplies to flood victims. CEO Alkhidmat Naveed Ali Baig said that floods caused by torrential rains had wrought havoc in Balochistan and destroyed thousands of homes, forcing displaced victims to live under open sky. He revealed that financial assistance had also been made available to victims and appealed to those with means to come forward and contribute to Alkhidmat's relief efforts.
