Amna Malik, a talented Pakistani actor and host, recently shared her thoughts on the fake friendships that seem to be prevalent in the showbiz industry.

On her morning show Roshan Sawera on Bol TV, Amna discussed the superficial nature of these relationships, especially in the age of social media. She pointed out that while celebrities often appear to be best friends online, attending parties, taking selfies, and posting them on social media, these friendships are far from genuine. Amna expressed her disbelief at how these “friends” behave as if they have a close bond, but once the social media posts fade, their friendship disappears.

She shared her amusement at seeing such behavior, highlighting how quickly the same people who appeared to be close suddenly turn cold towards each other once the cameras are off. Amna did not name anyone specifically, but her comments clearly pointed out the insincerity that can be prevalent in the entertainment industry. Pakistani actor Kunwar Nafees, who was a guest on the show, agreed with Amna’s viewpoint, adding that these friendships are often just temporary, existing only until the next social media picture. He remarked, “You are just the friends till that picture,” underscoring the fleeting nature of these relationships. Amna’s candid take on the topic sparked a conversation about the reality behind the glitzy world of entertainment and the often deceptive portrayal of friendships in the industry.
