The world we live in today has been through a lot of things from world wars to epidemics, but one thing which remained constant throughout was resilience and kindness. Moreover, it was the spirit to fight back and help out each other. Kindness must be an essential and universal quality to make the world a better place.

Being kind means taking the high road, even when someone has wronged you. It means serving other people, even under inconvenient circumstances. It involves looking for the good in others, and even helping them to see the good in themselves.

If you look back at history, you will find many acts of cruelty by humans but at same time, there are also numerous acts of kindness. This article on humanity will take us through its meaning and importance. Being human does not mean that an individual possesses mortality. If you want to comprehend quality of humanity/kindness in an individual take note of what he does for people who give nonentity back in return to courtesy they have presented. It is inacceptable to see that civilization as a value has become rare in our life. Human beings are slowly turning inhumane in utmost haunting ways.

There are many actions performed by humans themselves that have turned them into nothing more than mere animals. World we live in today is divided by borders but reach we can have is boundless. We are lucky enough to have freedom to travel anywhere and experience anything we wish for. A lot of nations fight constantly to acquire land which results in loss of many innocent lives. Likewise, other humanitarian crisis like ones in Yemen, Syria, Myanmar and more costs lives of more than millions of people. Situation is not resolving anytime soon, thus we need humanity for this. Humanity is an important part of life which tells that to help others, try to understand other and realise people problems with our own eyes and try to help them.

Showing humanity one don't need to be a rich person, even a poor person can spread humanity by helping someone or sharing his or her food, etc. Being a human does not mean that an individual has humanity.

Humanity leads to care for others whenever possible. Humanity means to help others whenever they required that help most, humanity means to forget selfishness when helping needy because Allah gives poor as well as rich. In our lives when we get an opportunity of helping others, we should help them without any differences in religion, caste and nationality. Whether they are black or white we should help them equally. Phenomenon we are facing daily is 'lack of kindness, which is causing problems for whole world. World we know today has many troubles and issues of economic, political and social nature. However, root cause of all these issues seems to be a lack of humanity. These issues can be resolved once people realise benefits and reputation of humanity. There is no doubt that kindness always wins and it has been proven time and again by people. One of factors of humanity is to be tolerant towards those who share different opinions and backgrounds. When we tolerate differences, there is less chaos in world and less chaos means lack of destruction and establishment of peace. It is a fact that humanity also means moral values of ethical behaviour.

We call humane behaviour as ethical behaviour many times. Many institutes and organisations develop an ethical code of conduct for their employees. Improved humanity can eliminate issues of moral values and ethics from society. Increase in number of crimes in today's world is mainly because of humanity. Yes, there are some times when criminal is forced to commit a crime because of whatever circumstances life has put. But, root cause remains lack of humanity. If we look at history, even just a couple of decades back, we shall notice numerous wars in different parts of world.

Syria, Afghanistan, Lebonan, and many other countries have been facing worse situations because of proxy wars between some countries. Moreover, there countries like India and Pakistan, which are in a war or war-like situation and have tensions of military nature between them. These wars are a result of poor judgment from governments and authorities from both countries and a lack of humanity. Kindness is taught in every religious faith. Be it Hinduism, Sikhism, or Islamic law or some other religion, they all prepare us to show compassion towards others. The term is not limited to human application.

Cruelty to all living creatures is a sin in many religious scriptures. Even the deaf animals raise their tail as a reciprocal response of compassion expressed towards them. Trees show similar reactions. They grow large and produce fruit in response to the kind behavior of their caregivers. Nature has its way of communicating appreciation and compassion. There is a deep relationship between religions and mortality. No matter that religion you follow, it preaches us status of mortality and urges us to follow path of mortality. Therefore, many people call kindness biggest religion. But unfortunately human beings have become materialistic for wealth and power and therefore have worked to a great extent to achieve so, to such extremes that include hurting another human being in worst possible ways. We have started using each other to satisfy our needs, treating anyone who is beyond our understanding with disregard and hate. We judge people by their appearance and stand in society and let that be how they should be treated, with humanity or not.

Everything has become about getting something in return, we've become so selfish that we tend to run away from any opportunity that might force us into helping someone selflessly. Reputation of kindness is a matter of anxiety. Topic is much needed in world more than ever. Nobody can deny influence of humanity in world. By practicing mortality, world can become a healthier place for everyone. However, it requires our efforts to practice humanity, as it may not always seem easy choice but it is only right choice that humans can make.

World would have been a nice place to live if there is humanity among us and if humanity is encouraged by others. Kindness is the most important quality for everyone to have. By being nice to others and being considerate of others, one can receive the same treatment in return. It is the kindness of one’s heart that one should strive to achieve. One should never be unkind to others and this is the only way to have a peaceful society.
