Bilawal Bhutto pays tribute to martyrs of MRD movement

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid glowing tribute to eleven party workers on their 39th martyrdom anniversary, who embraced martyrdom in Khairpur Nathan Shah (KN Shah) during Movement for Restoration of Democracy (MRD).

In his message, he said that unmatched sacrifices of martyrs of KN Shah tragedy Shaheed Abdul Ghani Abro, Shaheed Abdul Aziz Lakhir, Shaheed Nizamuddin Naich, Shaheed Abdul Nabi Khoso, Shaheed Allah Warayo Langah, Shaheed Shahnawaz Khoso, Shaheed Habibullah Leghari, Shaheed Didar Khokhar, Shaheed Zameer Jagirani, Shaheed Ejaz Khuharo and Shaheed Manzoor Chandio would never be forgotten. “Today is a reminder of how hard PPP has had to go through for sake of people’s rights and how great sacrifices Jiyalas have made for democracy”, he added.

 

Bilawal Bhutto said that KN Shah, city of our 11 martyrs has been severely affected by floods nowadays. He said that in past, Jiyalas sacrificed their lives for sake of democracy, today PPP is standing at forefront of struggle for provision of relief and rehabilitation of flood victims. “Like rehabilitation of other parts of country, I will not breathe a sigh of relief until flood affectees of KN Shah and other parts of country are fully rehabilitated,” he vowed.

 He reiterated resolve that PPP would not let sacrifices of its martyrs go in vain, rather it would continue its struggle with steadfastness and determination. He said that his Party would strengthen democracy in light of ideology and vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
