QUETTA: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan yesterday gunned down four terrorists in Kharan area of province during an inelegance-based operation. An operation was conducted by security forces against miscreants in Kharan, during which four terrorists were reportedly killed.

According to security sources in this regard, they conducted an operation against miscreants in lower forest area adjacent to Kharan. According to security sources, CTD acted on secret information during which four terrorists were killed in exchange of fire.

CTD also recovered weapons and explosives. According to CTD sources, these terrorists were involved in attack on Noshki FC Camp and bomb blasts. Terrorists were present in area to target security forces and senior civilian figures. CTD sources said that same group were also found involved in target killing of police and citizens in Kharan.
