KARACHI: Deputy Commissioner Central District Taha Saleem chaired a meeting at Karachi Dental and Medical College North Nazimabad in the meeting reviewed the arrangements made on the occasion of Eid-e-Mela in the central district.

Similarly, the best arrangements are being made by the civil administration to celebrate the Eid-ul-Milad Prophet (PBUH) in the central district with reverence and peace.  He said that all possible steps are being taken to provide urban and municipal facilities to Ahlian district on the occasion of Eid-ul-Milad in the central district. He said that this is a consultative meeting in which arrangements will be finalized in consultation with the Ulema, Mashaikhs, Imams of Masajids and imambargahs belonging to the central district and processions organizers. On the occasion, the participants of the meeting and the organizers informed the Deputy Commissioner about the problems of their respective areas while informing the Deputy Commissioner about the arrangements made by the Town Administration and other institutions. 

The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Ravinder Kumar, Director Rural Sanitation, Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, Chief Planning Officer, Ashok Khajuria, Assistant Commissioner Development, Angrez Singh, PO IWMP, Sushil Kesar, District Panchayat Officer, Rachna Sharma, besides BDOs, JEEs, Panchayat Inspectors, Gram Sewaks, GRS were present on the occasion. On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner directed the heads of the concerned institutions that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Milad-ul-Nabi, cleanliness, road carpeting and other arrangements at the Imambargahs, mosques and procession routes should be made in consultation with the clerics and administrators.
