Ex-MQM-London worker killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Former worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM-L) was gunned down in an apparent target killing incident here, police said. Alleged target killing incident took place in Hussainabad.

Unidentified assailants opened fire at welding shop in Hussainabad, leaving two persons injured. One of two wounded persons succumbed to injuries before being taken to hospital. Rescue officials shifted body and the injured person to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical assistance. Deceased man was identified as Shehzad. Police told media that deceased man was an active worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement London. Police contingents rushed to scene and started thorough investigation in all aspects.
