Bushra Ansari, a renowned Pakistani actress and vlogger, recently shared her thoughts on a sensitive issue, highlighting the challenges faced by parents of daughters. She spoke candidly about the dowry system and the behavior of her ex-son-in-law.

In her video, Bushra expressed the emotional and financial efforts parents invest in raising their daughters. She mentioned, “We put in all our time and effort into raising our daughters, and when they marry, we give them everything-clothes, crockery, an apartment, and money.

We give them a good start in life, but some people, unfortunately, are ungrateful and greedy, taking dowry and material benefits without any shame. It becomes a habit for them.”

She also shared that her family, like many others, gave property to their daughters and treated their sons-in-law like their own sons. However, Bushra revealed her frustration over the lack of gratitude and the inability of some men to take responsibility after separation or disagreements with their wives.

She expressed her anger at how many men fail to care for their children post-divorce or conflict, leaving the burden on the mothers.

Bushra’s words reflect a broader sentiment about the societal expectations placed on daughters, the dowry system, and the lack of accountability from certain men in familial relationships. Her message has resonated with many, sparking important discussions on these issues.
