Indian actress insulted Israel in her post and said, "Israel has imposed land, air and sea blockade on Gaza since 2007, due to which Gaza's economic situation and human life are being severely damaged." She said, "Gaza Strip, victim of Israeli atrocities and terrorism is basically world's largest prison".

Swara Bhasker had posted this post in 2011 which she has now reposted saying "Old picture, old tweet but my sentiments are still same". In her post, she called for freedom of Palestine and demanded an immediate ceasefire.
