KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori held meeting with newly appointed US Consul General Scott Urbom at Governor House. 

Meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations, role of diplomacy, boosting trade, increasing investment and other matters of mutual interest. Governor congratulated US Consul General on his new appointment and extended his best wishes. He emphasised significant role US Consul General can play in promoting investment and trade in province.  He highlighted that sustainable peace in province is highly conducive to investment and investors are being provided with comprehensive support through Special Investment Facilitation Council.  Tessori expressed strong desire to increase investment and trade with United States.  In response, US Consul General Scott Urbom expressed admiration for peaceful environment of province and sincerity of its people.  He said that Pakistan and United States are natural allies and that US wishes to see prosperous Pakistan.
