Governor Sindh hoists Pakistan-UAE flags on UAE’s 53rd National Day

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori celebrated the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates by hoisting the Pakistan and UAE flags at Press Club Square (Fawara Chowk).

The grand event featured a vibrant fireworks display and the playing of the national anthems of both countries, symbolizing the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and the UAE.

The occasion was graced by UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remethi, and other diplomatic officials.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Sindh Tessori congratulated the people of the UAE on their National Day, emphasizing the strong and enduring ties between the two nations. He stated, “The UAE has always stood by Pakistan in challenging times, and this is why the people of Pakistan share a deep emotional bond with the UAE. Today, we celebrate their joy as our own.”

Governor Sindh further shared that the UAE Ambassador assured opportunities for IT students in Pakistan, marking a positive step towards strengthening bilateral relations.

He also highlighted the UAE’s interest in investing in Pakistan and expressed the commitment to fostering mutual love and sincerity.

During the event, Governor Sindh distributed gifts to children carrying the flags of both countries, alongside the UAE Ambassador, adding a festive spirit to the celebrations
