Bismil has been making waves lately, and while Hareem Farooq’s portrayal of Masooma has earned her praise, she’s also faced criticism due to the negative traits of her character.

As a respected actor, producer, and someone who chooses her projects carefully, Hareem is no stranger to both admiration and backlash. Recently, she opened up about the weight criticism she received during her time working on Bismil.

Hareem explained that, at the time, she was going through a personal phase that led to weight gain. Initially, she planned to take a couple of months to lose the extra weight, but later she came to accept her body as it was.

She embraced the reality that her body type is normal and common among many Pakistani women. Despite the criticism, she continued her work on the drama, which is now a huge success. Hareem also revealed that she has psoriasis, a condition that leaves marks on her skin, and she has been open about the challenges it brings.

In addition to discussing her personal struggles, Hareem expressed her gratitude for working with seasoned legends like Savera Nadeem and Nauman Ijaz.

She spoke highly of the invaluable lessons she learned from both of them, highlighting how much she gained from their experience and guidance on set.
