KARACHI: Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh requested Minister of Energy Khurram Dastgir Khan to include provincial energy secretary in board of directors (BODs)of K-Electric for effective representation of Sindh government in power utility. In letter to energy minister he referred to meeting he had held with him at Chief Minister's House in which issue of effective representation of Sindh government in board of directors of K Electric for effective solution of urban problems was discussed.

Imtiaz Shaikh wrote in letter that minister had assured Sindh government of further progress to take this matter forward. "Therefore, I request you to include provincial energy secretary as a member/provincial representative of Board of Directors of K Electric, keeping in view public interest," he concluded.
