However, his enthusiasm was short-lived as netizens ridiculed his bio, which described him as a “passionate actor with 300-crore megahits.” Varun’s bio, which also highlighted his involvement in content-driven films, led to significant backlash. One line in particular, referencing his alleged 300-crore hits, triggered mockery from users, with some questioning which of his films had reached such box-office success. Other users sarcastically remarked that his claim seemed out of place, given the mixed reception of some of his recent releases. Varun’s LinkedIn debut included a post about his decade-long career in the film industry, where he shared lessons about teamwork and hard work, and expressed excitement about connecting with professionals beyond entertainment.
