Israeli airstrikes destroy more than 70pc of Gaza homes

Gaza: Relentless and indiscriminate Israeli bombing that Gaza has been subjected to since October 23, has left over 70 percent of territory’s homes in utter destruction, Al Jazeera reported citing Gaza’s government media office.
Development concurs with Wall Street Journal’s report that via analysing satellite imagery concluded that that Israeli airstrikes have destroyed 300,000 out of total 439,000 Gaza homes after Israeli Air Force dropped 29,000 bombs on beseieged strip., Civilian infrastrucutre has been rendered “Irreparable” as Israeli bombing campaign has targeted residential areas, Byzantine churches and hospitals, report said.
Israel’s attacks have persisted throughout Gaza Strip, especially in vicinity of hospitals and in southern part of besieged enclave, where ground operations are stepping up, Al Jazeera reported.
According to latest casualty figures as of December 31, 22,141 Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza and West Bank, including at least 8,883 children.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel displayed unparalleled “Morality” in Gaza war and rejected South Africa’s charge that it was committing “Genocidal” acts in Palestinian territory.
“We will continue our defensive war, justice and morality of which is without peer,” Netanyahu told cabinet meeting in Tel Aviv.
